2012 NBA schedule: Wizards have three days off before Boston rematch

The Washington Wizards can regroup for a few days and try to repeat a good effort in a tight loss to the Boston Celtics when the two teams meet again Wednesday night.

The Washington WIzards are still winless after two games, but they'll have a rematch against a Boston Celtics team they nearly beat in their last outing.

Most would've expected the matchup between the Celtics and a Wizards team without John Wall and Nene to be somewhat of a blowout, but Washington bounced back from a single-digit first quarter to make the game very close down the stretch. Paul Pierce eventually won the game for Boston with a late three that the Wizards couldn't answer, but the effort was still impressive from a young team against one of the Eastern Conference's best.

Now the Wizards get the longest break of the month, three full days early in the season to tweak issues that caused them to start 1-for-14 from the field and fail to score for almost three minutes to close the game. Although the team got 19 points off the bench from Kevin Seraphin against a smaller Boston lineup and 21 more from Jordan Crawford, they'll look for better production from the ragtag bunch tasked with starting while the team copes with injuries if they hope to beat Boston.

Here's the info on the Wizards' next game:

Wednesday, Nov. 7
